Our roof wraps are cut from 60" wide roll of top quality film, this is the exact same material we use in our shop on daily basis. This means not only does it absorb ambient light from the surrounding environment making it look tinted but it also absorbs the light generated inside the tail light, which is intended to be seen by following motorists!
The tail light on the left has a lens that is optically clear, yet has a smoked appearance compared to standard integrated LED tail lights simply by incorporating dark components inside of the tail light housing. This allows for the virtual appearance of a lightly smoked tail light lens, without sacrificing any performance or safety that smoked tail light lenses certainly lose. So now for , we are rolling out the option for a clear lens, or a lightly smoked tinted lens.
We feel that the light tint, combined with the "Stealth" approach, is the perfect compromise for safety and aesthetics for those who feel they prefer the look of a smoked tail light. You may use a "Spray Tint" product to tint our tail light lenses. We have not tested enough spray tint products to make recommendations, but there are many available online. Try searching on Google. Please note that you take full responsibility for the changes you make to the tail light, and once tinted or modified in any way, our tail lights can not be returned for any reason.
