This client will check your IP address every 5 minutes and if your IP has changed, it will automatically update that your hostname with No-IP. You can see if a device at your network supports No-IP.

Passive mode also has trouble with servers behind routers if the client is told to open a connection to an internal IP address.

Good firewalls will automatically replace the internal IP address of the server with the global IP address of the router. In this case, the "Use address of control channel for passive mode" setting may be selected to tell the FTP client to use the IP address of the already-open control channel in place of the IP address specified by the server.

Set "Unencrypt control channel" to revert the control channel to an unencrypted connection after authenticating the server. The data channels over which files are uploaded will remain encrypted. Specifies which style to use for listing directories. Default value: UNIX.
